You probably think of Arlo Guthrie when you hear The City Of New Orleans, perhaps the greatest train song ever written. But you might not know that the song was written by the accomplished songwriter Steve Goodman, a longtime friend of John Prine! They played together many times and Prine continues to dedicate his song Souvenirs to Steve at most of his shows.Steve Goodman died far too young at the age of 36 in 1984 after a long struggle with leukemia. Enjoy this version of The City Of New Orleans with Bobby Bare.

Veteran Musician Chris Smither On iNCREDIBLE eARS!
We're please to bring you this video testimonial from veteran singer/songwriter Chris Smither, who we fitted for iNCREDIBLE eARS Personal Audio Monitors last Fall at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco.
If you don't know the music of Chris Smither, click his name and visit his website! As the promotional material states about his latest CD Leave The Light On, "his bold and surprising decision to arrange Dylan's "Visions of Johanna" in 6/8 time (he credits his friend Steve Tilston for the suggestion) results in a track of otherworldly beauty."

Waterboys - Fisherman's Blues
If there's one band that I have NOT seen perform live that I DO want to see someday, it would have to be The Waterboys, the powerful group from "across the pond" fronted by Scotland native Mike Scott. This particular rendition of Fisherman's Blues is a classic performance!!!
